OTOKUNI area

OTOKUNI area is comprised of OHARANO, OYAMAZAKI, MUKO SHI, and NAGAOKAKYO. Nagaokakyo was the capital of Japan for 10 years during 784-794. This is just a blip in the very long history of Japan. Because this was the capital at such a brilliant time, there are boundless treasures in this area including nature, farmland, places of religious practice, food and culture.
